Enaex Colombia becomes supplier of ammonium nitrate to the world’s largest coal mining company: Carbones del Cerrejon Limited.
Enaex Colombia starts mechanised loading service for quarries, through a contract with Industria Militar to use the MMU units owned by INDUMIL.
In 2014, Enaex Colombia started using DAVEY BICKFORD electronic initiation systems, becoming pioneers in the use of electronic detonators for open pit mining operations.
Enaex signed a technology transfer contract with the Colombian Military Industry through co-production for the manufacture of emulsions under the Emulind E® brand. This contract is currently in force and has benefited a very important number of infrastructure and mining projects that have been developed in the country.
Enaex entered the Colombian market in 2008, supplying needs for the construction segment, and transferring to Indumil the technology for manufacturing pumpable emulsions and mechanized loading equipment for developing road tunnels.
