Facing several challenges due to the high level of hardness of the rock
The Shougang Mine is the only iron ore mine in Peru. The mine management is always looking for technological innovations to optimize production processes and ensure a safe working environment for its employees. One of the unique features of the Shougang mine is the extreme hardness and density of the rock, resulting in coarse-grained size and boulders. This characteristic makes it difficult to process the extracted material into ideal sizes for further processing, necessitating additional equipment for secondary detonations, increasing both time and costs.
Our achievements so far make us proud, and we are committed to maintaining safety and efficiency in our mining operations by utilizing the latest technologies.
