Conventional Detonators Initiation Systems
The hand held SafeStart™ Initiators (SI-1) is designed to fire a SafeStart™ instantaneous detonator from a distance of up to 1km away using standard blasting wire or cable. It is primarily used for secondary blasting, but can be used to initiate a surface blast when connected with shocktube initiators.
