Enaex Colombia, involved in the main 4th Generation road projects.

Enaex Colombia, participated as one of the main suppliers for the supply of explosives and blasting accessories, carrying out the execution of blasting along the route of the open pit work in the Mar 1 Concession project. A project of 181 kms. of mountain roads that had an investment of close to US$500MM, which began its construction process at the end of 2016 and recently culminated. Enaex Colombia also carried out the continuous supply of explosive material for the construction of the second connecting tube of the Fernando Gomez Martinez tunnel, with a length of 4.6 kilometers of subway work. ​

It is important to mention that in the Mar 1 project, Enaex put at the service of the construction group all its capacity to solve logistical and technical obstacles, providing the client with solutions of great value to comply in a timely manner with the delivery of the work. ​

The main road infrastructure agency of the Colombian government, ANI, reported on the results of the country’s road development policy and emphasized the achievement of important milestones in the construction of the concessioned roads. In total, during the outgoing government’s term, 10 mega road projects will be delivered to connect the country’s productive and urban centers with the ports and cargo corridors between the regions. ​
